Ella Hartwig’s

Album Funding Campaign

To finish releasing my album, I have signed up with the Australian Cultural Fund to help me overcome my financial barrier.

I’m inviting you to join my journey in the next step of my career…

So… what is the Australian Cultural Fund?

Here are a few facts about the ACF:

  1. The ACF is a preferred donation arrangement that offers tax deductible donations.

  2. The ACF is a fundraising platform dedicated solely to Australian artists.

  3. ACF artists are not permitted to offer rewards in exchange for donations. Donations to the ACF are an unconditional gift.

So, here’s my pitch…

Nestled in Cooktown, Far North Queensland, I found my passion for music from a young age. As a self-taught multi instrumentalist, the opportunities to refine my musical skills and progress my career were limited. The nearest recording studio was over four hours away, and living remote, there wasn’t much of a music scene to nurture my spark. The decision to relocate when I turned nineteen became imperative to furthering my career, so I packed up and left the comfort of a small-town and family to follow my dreams of writing and recording my first album.

I’ll now invite you to take a moment to recall what it was like waking to your parents’ favourite songs on the stereo or perhaps that Springsteen vinyl that you had your first high school dance to. Reflect on the soundtracks that made your special moments… special. For me, songwriting is my way of making sense of the world around me and connecting. I vividly remember the impact of my songs at just thirteen, when I moved a stranger to tears. My songwriting has earnt me two Queensland Music Award Nominations and acknowledgement in the International Songwriting Competition. That initial spark has fuelled my creative journey ever since.

I’m excited to share that I have released three singles from the album so far. Since the lead single’s release in June 2023, Out of Stone has over 33,000 Spotify streams, I have over 82,000 collective Spotify listens and garnered over 56,000 Tik Tok views. The Western Star music video was added to Country Music Television and I’ve had notable traction with community and National radio, which has added motivation to release the rest of my album. I have personally invested over $20,000 in the album project and I am looking for $10,000 from my supporters. I am raising $6,000 for studio sessions, $3,000 for post-production (mixing and mastering), $1,000 towards designing the album and photography, $2,000 to go towards PR and marketing so that I can get my album in front of an audience and $3,000 to go towards my music videos. My goal is to then take my band on my Debut National Tour.

I am truly grateful for your invaluable support in my journey.
